Contemporary Dance Classes for Adults (Summer Term)
18:30 – 20:15, Wednesdays 18 & 25 July, and 1, 8, 22 & 29 August

£36 for block of 6 (or £7 per class)
This weekly class, lead by Sharon Took-Zozaya, invites adults of all dancing ability to learn contemporary dance techniques, focusing upon strength, flexibility, balance, coordination and creative expression. Beginning with a conditioning warm-up, each session includes standing center work, building to combinations that sweep through space. All dancing abilities and fitness levels are welcome between 18:30 and 19:30, with the last half hour dedicated to the more experienced and/or adventurous.

About Sharon Took-Zozaya (MFA, MS, BA, C-IAYT)
Sharon has choreographed, performed and taught in professional, higher education, schools and community contexts in the USA, Scotland and internationally for over forty years, working with both able-bodied and disabled dancers of all ages and abilities. Her classes are inspired by personal movement research, study of kinesiology, elements of Hawkins, Lewitzky and Limon techniques, and yoga.
